Doings iPhone app can't connect again

When trying to login to Doings I receive an error message saying:
Connection Error: The certificate for this server is invalid. you might be connecting to a server that is pretending to be "todoist.com" which could put your confidential information at risk.

I click Dismiss but it still won't connect.

Thanks for any suggestions!

When logging on from the web, one can look at the certificate for Todoist.com. It was issued by Equifax and it expired 14 October 2011. Todoist has allowed its certificate to expire and thus has bricked all the iphone apps that use it. Is todoist.com out of business? Unless it is, this is very bad practice indeed.

Is there a mobile app that shows completed tasks? I can't tell if Doist does without buying it.
