How to turn off task numbers

Can I turn off the new task numbers for lists? The numbers are irrelevant and, to me, create visual clutter. It's the simple, clean design that led me to, and keeps me with, Todoist.

Hello Don,

are you referring to the amount of tasks within projects displayed next to their names? These numbers were there all the time. Previously, they were within the colored box.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to turn them off right now, but thank you for the suggestion, we appreciate it.

If you'd like to suggest a new feature or a different way of indicating the task count in a different way, you're welcome to do so in our Votebox:

You're right. Before though, since the numbers were contained inside those boxes, your eye could pretty much ignore them. Now, they've come outside their boundaries and even bump up against the titles and create visually unattractive alignments. I vote for a return to the way things were, one of those "if it ain't broke..." things, I guess. Anyway, it's just not relevant or useful info. Thanks.
