I'm evaluating Todoist and would like to share ..

I've decided to give Todoist a try after using RTM and then CheckVist. I gave up RTM due to the lack of support for subtasks and since then have been really delighted with CheckVist. Unfortunately it doesn't have an iCal feed which has become a necessary feature for me.

So I've wound up here which is I suppose a compliment to Todoist which does have all the features I need.

So far I like Todoist's functionality, however it seems like that are often too many key strokes required to do things.

Reorder and indent are two example of this. In all humility I would like to suggest that the developers have a look at CheckVist where both indenting and re-ordering are all done by dragging with the mouse or consistent use of CTR and the arrow keys. It's really straightforward and fast. There's also an option to keep notes visible in the list view, again avoiding extra key strokes to see the notes.

I suppose I'll get used to the extra work but I'm hoping the Todoist interface will get more streamlined. This will then be the dream Todo list program.

Just to add another one (stolen from RTM): "Move to New Folder" could instead just produce a drop down with all the folders at once (Move To: Actions; Move to: etc), rather than clicking, then clicking again to select the destination. But I am sure some would dislike the long list...
