Sharing projects within Todoist - not weboist

Sorry, but Todoist is far easier and cleaner task/project management system than weboist and sharing with teams is the next big step - especially for a paid pro user.

The ability to multi select tasks (like multi editing) and be able to share those tasks with another user would be great - as well as checking when they are completed or not. Maybe we would also need some visual way to separate team tasks with personal ones and/or share whole projects.

Hello Ken,

we are planning an integration of Todoist and Wedoist so thank you for the feedback, we appreciate it.

For now, you're welcome to take a look at out guided tour:

It explains the basics of Wedoist and hopefully it can show you haw easy it really is.

Best regards,

Thats great news. Could you please estimate time needed to acomplish integration of todoist and wedoist? Month, 6 months, year or more? I love todoist but really miss the ability to share task with my team. Its frustrating to have two tools for managing tasks, one for me, second for my team members. Not any great project could be acomplished alone in these days, please be quick about it :)

I'd also like for others to see and share my todoist list. Wedoist is great for business but I prefer todoist for my personal stuff. I'd like for friends and family to help me out with personal tasks as well.

Keep up the great work,

Yeah, is there any ETA regarding the integration of todoist and wedoist?

Hello Enrico,

unfortunately, I can't give you any timeframe for the integration of Todoist and Wedoist.

It is a major change, considering that Wedoist doesn't share all features with Todoist and vice-versa, but it is already being planned and will certainly be deployed in the future :)

Best regards,

wedoist doesn't even have indented subtasks. How is that possible?

we will certainly consider adding more Todoist's features into Wedoist in the future, but for now, you can use "Task lists" as an alternative to sub tasks.

If a particular task has to be broken down into many smaller tasks, you can make a task list with the main goal and add tasks for all smaller goals/milestones. Every task list can also be archived once you complete all tasks under it.

Best regards,

I agree that it would be great to share tasks with friends and family -- I've tried to get work folks to use WeDoist, but for some reason, they don't like using cloud-based task management software. :/

I would LOVE to be able to share projects. I love having todoist as my central task manager so I can easily switch between business and personal tasks. Being able to share my Personal projects with my wife and my Business projects with my employees would be the greatest addition to todoist I could possibly think of. It's not a bad way for Todoist to get new users too. I know I personally would share my projects with at least four new people.

Right now I share by emailing pdfs of my projects. We tried Wedoist for my business but my life is in Todoist; it's too hard to keep both up to date.

It would be great to combine those to projects - or at least add tools to wedoist that are included with todoist

Hi David,

I am happy user and also got my team into todoish. Certainly wedoish is not as much attractive as todoish.

How do I automatically share his task with mine in todoish.

As of today he exports the template to me and then I import it manually. This will certainly not work in long run.
