Add photo to task

Is there a way on my iphone app to jot a task down and then take a picture and attach it to the task?

Hi Scott,

You can attach an image to a note but unless you have a way to take a screen shot on iOS, unfortunately it's not possible.

Got it. Any suggestions on how to associate photo's with tasks or notes? I travel a lot and this is the key to my decision regarding which To Do app to use. So far only Trello and Evernote allow me to do this.

Sorry, I was thinking of the web version. There is no way to upload a file (image) within notes on iOS. We hope to implement this in the near future.

a wonderful, easy-to-use solution would be to snap photo/s on the iphone/smartphone, and mail it/them from within the app to your project email address. This would be very similar to the solution we already have with text-based mails. (Which is really a gem!)

And since the project e-mail already resides in address book/ autofill, it would only take a couple of of typing/finger moves.

It would be fantastic if you would add the attachment feature to the iPhone app !! I use OmniFocus b/c one can attach photos to tasks. Any idea when attaching photos to tasks will be added to the Todoist iPhone app?

I agree with Monica, any idea? My only issue with this app.

Love the simplicity but if I can't attach a photo, it loses most of it's value. I use pics to capture everything from type of bread wife wants, to part number on appliance I need parts for, to remembering anything physical related to a task.

Add this and I will go back to premium

Hello Bob,

Please tap on a task, go to "Notes" and click on the attachment icon at the bottom. Select "Take a photo" and attach it to a task's note :-)

Best regards,

Yes but it would be nice to have the Attach button In the initial flow rather than having to click thru to notes.

iMessage :-)
The photo is part of the task name and often nothing else needs to be typed

What I mean is make it just like iMessage with attaching a photo. Would be unbeatable productivity improvement

Yes, I agree, it would be very helpful & efficient to be able to add attachments & notes when a task is initially created. What about including Attachments/ Notes under the Optional Fields category at the Add Task Phase? That would allow for quickly adding notes & attaching photos at the time the task is created.

Add another vote for this feature. I'd love to be able to either create a new task with a photo attached, or add a photo as a "note" under a task from iOS.

another +1 for this. Think Trello, Evernote, Asana etc... a picture is worth a thousand words.... :)

Any progress on this issue? It's incredibly cumbersome to have to create the task, track it down and attach the photo. Then I have to choose the file size each time? What gives? This is almost enough to drive me back to Omnifocus.
