Parentheses not working in search queries on iPad

I'm trying to set up a filter that will list all tasks assigned to a given context that are either tagged as next actions or scheduled for today. Individual queries work fine, e.g.:
@home & today
@home & @next
produce the expected results.

But, when I try to combine them into the following:
(@home & @next) | (@home & today)
I get only results applicable to the first part of the query. Additionally, the query bar shows the following, notice the lack of parentheses:
@home & @next | @home & today

Looks like an annoying bug to me, but perhaps I'm doing something wrong?

Best regards,

Hello Tomek,

We're sorry for the inconvenience. These advanced search queries were implemented to Todoist relatively recently and we're still fully porting them to iOS so all will work in future updates.

Guys please fix advanced queries... come on this is one of the things we're paying for. Even the more simple queries are not working like:
@work | @office
