iPhone and iPad crash on new or edit task

With the new update, the application crashes anytime I try to add a new task or edit an existing task. I notice in the iTunes reviews that this is happening for some other people as well.

Hi David,

To clarify, you are able to log into the app without issue? It's only when you try to create a new task, or edit? Touching anything does not cause this, as in scrolling?

How many projects and tasks do you have on your account approximately? Is this a new account of yours, or an older account?

Sorry for the troubles.

HI Brendon,

(All answers for both iPad mini and iPhone 5)

I can login to the app just fine without issue. I can view tasks, complete them, switch projects, create new projects, etc. The app crashes however anytime I press the + for a new task, attempt to open and edit the subject of a task, or click on "About Todoist" in the settings.

Its an older account - I've had it for probably about a year but am just now starting to use it and have about 7 tasks/project and 5 projects.

Hello David,

Please tell me - do you use the iOS 7 beta right now? We're aware of this kind of issue, but only when used with the latest iOS 7 beta (and can't fix it as it's a problem on the iOS side).

I do. Thought maybe that was the case. Using app to view and web to create for now. No matter what, still a great app and gladly updated to Premium yesterday to support development after I noticed the bug.

Thanks for the help, look forward to the next update.

Hello Antoine,

We're sorry for the inconvenience, we've already submitted version 7.0 to the store and we're awaiting approval. It should be published either this or next week.

Best regards,
