Setting a default view on iPhone App

HI
I have a default view set (no date, od, 7 days) for my Mac platform & my Chrome extension but I can not figure out how to set it on my iPhone app.
How can I do this?

Thanks

Ivan

Ivan,

Unfortunately, this is not possible right now on the iOS app. We are currently beta testing a brand new app which will address this and many other things.

Thanks,
Brendon.

Thanks Brendon... do you have an ETA on the new app? Do you need more beta testers :-)

Ivan,

We can't give an ETA at this time, but since it's in beta testing, it's going to be very soon :) And unfortunately, we have all the testers we need right now, but thank you :)

Thanks,
Brendon.

Hello, I'm interested in this as well. Brand new to the app and I wanted a way to see all my tasks at once on the iPhone app, rather than just the 'today' tasks.

Any updates on this? It's the main thing stopping me from going premium.

Hello Eric,

Unfortunately not yet, but we'll add such option in future updates. Sorry for the delays.

Best regards,
David

Just came across this issue as well, and would settle for the iOS start view to mirror the desktop apps (if that's easier to accomplish).

Jose,

None at this time. Honestly, it could be awhile before anything were to be implemented at this time.

This. Singularly the most annoying thing about the iPhone app!

+1, since Brendon wrote that it would be addressed on Jun 27, 2013 - 20:17.
It should be a given that you can change default view.
Thanks

1.5 years later...

Has it been forgotten?

There seem to be a number of features that fall into this category for iOS users (expanding/collapsing subtasks, option to choose default view when opening the app, full featured snooze options...). It would be respectful to your users if information was given as to why these promised features have not yet been implemented, especially after waiting for such lengthy periods of time.

Transparency will ingratiate your users to you. Silence will frustrate and alienate them.

LOL. When I first started reading this thread I was relieved that the default view issue was going to be addressed on iOS. Until I saw the discussion started in 2013 :(

Maybe the default option will be added along with documentation for the URL scheme and Siri integration.
