creating a task from email on iphone

Like many users, I see emails that require follow-up. It would be very helpful to create a todoist task from my email that I am viewing on my iphone. Is this possible?

Hi Michael,

At the moment it is not possible to create a task from email on the iPhone app directly. Feel free to add this suggestion to our Votebox : http://todoist.com/Support_iOS/ because we are always looking to improve our products.

As an alternative, please refer to this post on our blog describing two methods to managing emails with Todoist : http://todoist.com/blog/2013/01/zero-inbox-policy-with-todoist/

If you follow the second method "Forwarding messages to Todoist projects" you should be able to do that from your iPhones email application.

Please let me know if you need further instructions.

Hi Wolfram,

You can try CloudMagic as it has an integration with Todoist. :-)

Hi Jennifer,

If you are referring to an iPhone, there are two options right now: The first option is use a 3rd party app called CloudMagic. They have built and integration with Todoist that allows us to save your emails as tasks directly to your projects. To learn more about cloud magic, please check their website here: https://cloudmagic.com/

The second option is to email tasks directly to your projects. Please refer to this page for the steps on how to set it up: https://todoist.com/blog/2013/01/zero-inbox-policy-with-todoist :-)
