Today and 7 days views don't refresh correctly on new day
If I use the app last thing at night and then launch it again in the morning, I see the syncing happening but the section headers on the "today" or "7 days" views don't update.
So what was shown as "today" tasks last night is still shown in the "today" section whereas it should recognise that it is the next day and these tasks are now "yesterday".
Selecting another view and then back again, does update the headers as expected.
I have the same problem as well. When this happens, the badges are also not correctly updated.

Please tell me - do you have the correct time and timezone settings on both you Todoist account and your mobile devices? Also - did you shut down your phones completely or did the app run in the background in sleep mode overnight?
The timezone settings are correct. The problem happens only if the App runs in the background. If I kill the app and relaunch it then its ok.
I have notified the developers about this issue and we will investigate it.
Timezones are correct. iPhone is left on overnight, so app goes to background.
This bug was fixed for Today view but the issue still happens on "Next 7 days" view in the current version.
We're sorry for the inconvenience, We're currently finishing the work on our brand new iPhone and iPad app which will address this and other issues.
I just started using Todoist yesterday and downloaded the iPhone app. I'm still seeing this same problem going on--items due yesterday are still being listed as today on both the Today and 7 day view, and items that are listed for the future are off by one day (items due Sunday are listed for Monday, for Monday listed for Tuesday).
I have confirmed both my online and iphone app are set to EST time zone, but this is still not working. I've even powered my phone on/off and this still doesn't work. This would be real deal breaker for me to using this app, or even consider upgrading to Premium if this can't be synced properly across devices.
We're sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, we can't reproduce this under any circumstance except for one - when the time zone settings are incorrect. That is - if you travel to a different zone and don't correct it in the app and make changes to it or if other devices you use Todoist with have an incorrect time zone.
Note - if you're using Todoist on a desktop computer, please note that the time zone may be incorrect even though the time itself is, which can happen during Daylight Saving Time.
