newbie question: desktop icon is dead on Win 7

I've installed todoist twice on my Windows 7 laptop; it's an easy, automated install and with virtually no room for install errors, yet twice now my desktop icon goes no where. I click and nothing happens. I've also installed on my android phone and tablet and both appear fine.

The smaller taskbar icon also doesn't work, but I can right-click and open via the open todoist.com option. Suggestions, please?

Hello Jaye,

If you see the TD icon in your notifications area (system tray), please double-click on it to show Todoist. You can also use the keyboard shortcuts Ctrl+Alt+T to show/hide the app, Ctrl+Alt+A to show it and also open the Quick Add menu, configure these shortcuts and also configure if you want the app to completely close or hide to tray upon using the X icon.

Best regards,
