Set relative reminder for recurring task

I have a monthly recurring task that is due the Monday before the second Wednesday of every month. Because the Monday is sometimes the first Monday and other times it is the second Monday, I don't think there is any way to setup the recurrence directly.

I had thought about setting up the task as due on the second Wednesday of every month and then setting the notification for 2 days prior as a work around. However, I get a message indicating relative reminders only work if the due date is actually entered (precluding their use with recurring tasks?).

Anyone have any ideas on how I can set up the recurrence to achieve what I am describing? Any items in the voting section that might relate to this?

Hello Jeff,

You can only set relative reminders if the task has a due time. That is - if it's "every 12 at 16:00" and not just "every 12". Only then the system can now when you want the reminder to be sent (1 hour before... what time).

However, in your case, I would recommend using absolute reminders so if the task is due "every 12" (for example), then you could set a reminder to "every 10 at 2pm".

Best regards,
