Android app still displaying completed tasks both in app and in notification tray

I use both your Windows desktop app and the Android one (currently v2.1.3 on a Galaxy S3 running Android 4.3).

I have an issue with the Android app where it still shows my (recently) completed tasks. Currently these go back 18 days. Periodically these will clear themselves.

If I complete a task in the Windows app then this change is reflected in the Android one

In the event that I don't have any tasks for a particular day (it happens!) then all these tasks appear in the phone's notification tray

Hello Michael,

Please clarify - within the app itself, you see tasks that are completed, are not sub-tasks and they stay there after you switch the view to a different project an back? If so, please try to clear the app's cache and see if it helps.

Regarding the notification tray - is this a different issue that causes you to receive new reminders for already completed tasks or are you only referring to the notifications area and not the app itself.

Hi David

There are no sub-tasks and I'd tried clearing the cache.

The list has one outstanding item (which should be a 'someday' but I want it visible so I don't completely forget it!) and there are a load of completed ones after it.

On my phone I only ever use the "today" list - if I switch to a project on my phone and then back to "today" then all the completed items are removed… so I've discovered a workaround if/when it happens again.
