Changing label pushes back timeline (due date) by one year

This is a really strange bug. I added a label to an overdue task, and Todoist pushes back the due date (timeline) of the task by one year to January 1, 2015. Is this a known bug?

Hello W,

Technically, if you edit a task and the original date of it is "1 Jan" and you do this on January 2nd, then it saves the date for the next available occurrence which is January 1st, 2015.

We'll look into it and make it remember the year and keep it overdue.

Yes, the biggest problem with this "automatic" renewal of due date is that the task goes off the radar as soon as I edit an item. An overdue task, however overdue, is visible in the Today view or 7 days view for immediate attention.
