editing overdue tasks reschedules them to next year on Android

I have been recently bitten by a bug that was already somewhat discussed here, but which occurs under slightly different and unfortunate conditions.

On Android, when I edit a task that is already overdue - for example by giving it a higher priority or adjusting the text - Todoist reschedules the task to the next year. This is because the entry for date is given without year and when re-saving the task, Todoist reinterprets it and shifts it to the nearest future date.

This is very unfortunate if you do not actually make any change to the date, just edit some other part of the task, and has potential for causing serious trouble for the user, because he will effectively loose the task from his view.

It would be better to include explicit year in the date field or reinterpret the date only if it was actually edited.

Best regards
