Android Widgets?

I have read in blogs and descriptions that there are at least 2 widgets for android devices. I have a Moto Razr running 4.1.2 with no custom mods.

My only option for widgets is the quick task add 1x1 button.

I have seen a lot of examples of the task list widget on the web but don't have that option on my phone. This is an extremely important feature to me. Am I missing a setting or something? Or does the widget not exist for my system?

It does depend on the system and the screen size. The Razr might be a bit small for the other widgets to appear. You can try clearing the data for the app and see if it gets added. A reinstall might help as well, I am not sure how big the Razr is.

How big does the screen have to be? I have a Nexus 5 (5 inches) and the Task List widget is not showing up for me. Is there any way to get this working? This feature is really make or break for me. Thanks!

Hello Kohlert,

Most current smartphones will have a screen big enough for this widget.

Please make sure that no other apps that manage your display or the apps/widgets drawer are hiding it and if you have such apps, please tyr to disable them and then browser though all available widgets.

Hello Phil,

Unfortunately, we could never reproduce this issue and based on past reports, enabling Google Services or reinstalling the app or making sure there are no other apps that may in any way affect the display of the widgets has solved it.

Please clarify what Android version are you using, what version of our app, what device and if you're using any custom ROMs?

Best regards,

David, below is my information...

Google Play Services - Version 5.0.84
Todoist - Version 5.2.1
Razr Maxx HD - Android Version 4.4.2

I am not running a custom ROM but I am using Google Now Launcher (Version as my home screen.

I was not able to get the issue resolved using your suggested methods.

Please advise,

So if you try to add a widget on any of your home screens, you do not see two options - the regular 1x1 "icon" widget and the bigger actual widget, only the first one, is that correct?

And there are no apps that hide unused widgets from your phone?

Best regards,

I tried reinstalling the app once again and this time I was able to see the task list widget (the larger widget). However, your statement was correct - before hand, I was only able to see the smaller widget.

Thanks for the help. I the reinstall resolved my problem.
