Annoying bugs

Found another 2 bugs with the latest release.

I added a recurring event for every saturday and on the Next 7 days list it shows on Friday not Saturday.
I synced and checked the web site and its fine on there so i there, also i have a filter for one month which i checked too and its fine on there, so its some issue with the next 7 days screen i think.

The second one may not be a bug depending on your intended behaviour.
Add a new task and in the date field choose Date examples from the overflow menu and scroll down and select 'ev mon, fri at 20:00'
Click the tick to finish adding the task and then notice its only showing for Monday and not Friday for the task.
It only make it appear on Friday when the Monday one is completed which I think you intended, but its annoying not to see both events, as it makes it look like i have some free time on friday night as the event is not visible yet

Hi Paul,

Does the task show up as Friday or Saturday when editing it, also when viewing the Project it's a part of? Or is this just happening on the 7 days view? Please try clearing the data for the app, and let me know if it persists.

As of right now this is the intended outcome. This is how it works on the web version as well. We will consider changing this or improving it in future updates if we find a good way of doing it :) Feel free to add this to our votebox: http://todoist.com/Vote_Android/

Just 7 days views, it showed up as Friday.
Clearing data didn't fix it

Hello Paul,

Unfortunately, I can't reproduce this issue. I've set a task with the due date "ev Sat", went to the "7 days" list and saw it listed under "Saturday 31 Aug".

However, such issue can indeed occur if you have accessed Todoist in a different timezone without adjusting the time zone in your settings or have any of the devices you use with Todoist set to the incorrect zone. Please make sure that that's not the case.

I can reproduce this reliably with these steps..

(1) Add task, as today when I do this test its Thursday set the due date to Ev Wed, always one before the day that would be the end of the 7 days.

(2) Go to the Next 7 Days screen and notice its added it to Tuesday not Wednesday

Its very dependent on adding a day thats at the end of that 7 day time period, so if you did Ev Sat today its only a couple of days till Saturday so the bug wont appear.

Thank you for this information, now I can reproduce this too with "ev Wed" (used today. Even though within the project, the task correctly shows that it's due on Wednesday and editing it reveals that it really is due Wednesday, I see it under "Tuesday 3 Sep" in 7 days.

I will pass this issue to the developers and we'll address it in the next update. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thats great.
It seems to sync fine as if you check on the web it will be under Wed as expected, so it seems mobile specific.
