Unable to login and sync through wifi
I am using google integrated login and am unable to login to the app over wifi. Experiencing sync issue as well. Everything seems to work fine as soon as I change the connection to 3G/Mobile.
Please clarify - does this issue only occur with Todoist? Can you login via WiFi using the Google Login with any other app? Are you in a corporate WiFi network which may block certain types of connections?
I am not experiencing any issues with any other application over the wifi connection. Its a personal wifi network, there is a firewall but all outgoing connections are allowed.
Unfortunately, we can't reproduce this issue so far. Please confirm - you can log into other apps that also use Google Authentication through WiFi?
Also, please try to go to todoist.com log in through the web-app, go to Settings (top-right corner) -> Account, use "Edit" to set a password for Todoist and then try to log in via WiFi and Android, but using the manual login and type in your Gmail address in combination with the newly set password.
Tried the manual login method still experiencing hte same problem.
Will try and disable the firewall and test again.
Can I disconnect the Google account from the Todoist completely from the authorizations tab ? Would there be any other implications of doing that ?
Yes, if you have a password set up with Todoist, you can go into the Settings and remove Google authentication from it completely and there should not be any issues.
