How do I view completed tasks in Android?

I have a premium account and accidentally completed some tasks in the Android app. How do I see them to uncomplete them within Android please?

Hello Peter,

Unfortunately, it's currently not possible to view completed tasks through our mobile apps, but we'll add such option in the future.

For now, each time you complete a task on mobile, if you don't change the view or go to a different project, the task will stay on the list grayed out and you can tap on it and choose "Uncomplete". If you've changed the view and it's already gone, then you can uncomplete it from https://todoist.com by entering the project and clicking on "Show completed tasks" at the bottom.

You could access the full web-app through your mobile browser (as it's fully HTML5 compatible) through this URL: http://todoist.com/m/forceRegular

Hi David - Ok I guess that I can live with the work around. Thanks for the HTML5 URL link. Some Android apps have semi-persistent completed tasks or an option to select the number of hours / days that a completed item remains on display as well as being able to access the completed items archive.

Any news on this feature getting added soon? Sounded like it was on its way nearly a year ago...

Hi Caitlin,

We have no news yet regarding this but we'll update this thread as soon as it's available. :-)

This is something pretty basic that is a huge pain if you accidentally swipe the wrong task on Android and don't hit undo quick enough! I can't fathom it would be that complicated to implement and make a good deal of users happy.

On a related note, there ought to be a way to disable swipe to complete. Remember the Milk had a swipe to open a list of options, so you could catch yourself before you got rid of something prematurely.

Hello Matt,

This feature has already been implemented :-) That is - seeing the completed task list in our Android app. Please make sure that you have the latest version of the app and you'll be able to tap on the icon in the top-right corner and choose "Completed" (while you're in a project).

Ah, awesome. We've been wondering about that. We primarily use the "Next 7 Days" view so we didn't think to check at the project level.
