Can you change the size of the android widget?

I would like to shrink the size of the project widget which I have added to my mobile so that I can see more than one project at a time (like I used to with Astrid)- is this possible? Also the widget does not fill the page - can this be changed? Thanks so much.

Hi There,

You are able to shrink the widget depending on which launcher you are using. You can do this by holding down on the widget, and then selecting, resize. This I know can be done with at least Nova Launcher. If you did indeed mean to say shrink and not make larger, once you do this you could add the next widget and do the same thing. If you meant can you make the widget larger to fit more projects on one widget, and the answer is no.

Unfortunately, that is as big as it gets right now. We do hope to improve this feature in future updates.

Thanks Brendon, I am an Astrid refugee so am new to Todoist! I did mean shrink. I have a Samsung Galaxy s2 and dont seem to be able to shrink it by following your instructions - am I doing something wrong?

No you are not doing anything wrong. As I said, I believe it depends on your launcher you are using. By default, there is currently only one size, I should have made that clear. If you are really interested in getting access to a smaller widget size now, I know for sure that Nova Launcher can do this. We hope we can add more options in future updates.

Thanks, I had to Google what Nova Launcher was! Will give it a go. Cheers

Now, after 2 years left.
I use Sony Xperia Z compact phone with native launcher, and I steel can't reduce widget horisontal size unlike to other widgets I use, Calendar widget as example.
Do you have some plans to add this feature?

Unfortunately, we don't have a release date for such implementation yet, but it's something we'll consider for future updates.
