7 day widget view doesn't include overdue

In the Mac app and online, the "7 days" link shows overdue tasks. Since I am a terrible procrastinator, this often includes lots of stuff. On the android widget, the "7 day" view only includes the next 7 days. Is it possible to change the default to also include overdue tasks?

Hello Christopher,

We've decided not to display overdue tasks on the default "7 days" view on Android due to space limitations on mobile screens - the list of tasks for the next week may already be very long. Nonetheless, we may consider changing this in future updates and you're welcome to vote for this request in our Votebox: http://todoist.com/Vote_Android/

For now, there are two workarounds:

1. You could create a custom filter - if you tap on "Filters", you can add a filter that will search for "7 days, overdue" and save it. This way, you could even use it as your view in the widgets.

2. You could set a custom start page - going to the Settings through the 3-dot icon in the top-right corner allows you to modify your start page and you can set it to "7 days, overdue" to see these search results each time you open the app.

I agree with Christopher. This is inconsistent with the Web app. When I look at next 7 days, I expect to see my overdue tasks as well.

Typically if you are already looking at 7 days view, you will expect to see your long list no matter what, but you also want to see what you missed so you can postpone them as appropriate. Users having to remember to switch between the two views will consistently miss something.

David, I will use your workaround for now, but the workaround does not provide the day separaters (headers) to easily see what's due on what day. It's all in a single list and forces you to review every item's date. At the very least, users should have the option to also "Show overdue items" in their 7 day view.

I also did not see the item on the Voting list, did someone create the enhancement?

Another note for anyone trying the workaround, you should put overdue first "overdue, 7 days" or the items will appear at the bottom of your list, and you'll never get to it. At least that's my experience.
