Sync problem

Hello!
I have synced my android app with bad internet connection and now I have serious loss of data: there are more then 270 duplicates of one task, some tasks were deleted, some were not add, some tasks are not finished and many of them have wrong labels.

I don't know how to change it back to normal and I'm not shure about what else have changed.

What do you suggest me to do now?

This problem was even before your update and is still there.
Last update was installed (with widgets) and I cleared cache before using.
smart: galaxy note 2 (android 4.1.1)

Every sync thing are only getting worth. Now I have more then 400 duplicates

Hello Dmitriy,

Unfortunately, we can't reproduce this issue so far, but please clarify:
- Every time you try to sync your tasks, you get more and more duplicates of the same task?
- Can you see all these duplicated tasks also through the web-app at https://todoist.com?
- What are the properties of this task? Is there anything specific about it? A name including special characters, a complex recurring due date, multiple labels?

First of all, my android database is allmost fine (exept labels). Web database is corrupted and has duplicates.
1) Yes, sync add more tasks every time. There were 542 duplicates before sync and 547 after. And it still hasn't add another tasks from phone base. Syncing through stable wi-fi connect didn't make any difference.
2) About task:
name: Актуализация финансов
1 label: @важное_не_срочное
date: 23 Mar

All my task are in Russian.

I chose "use this start page only for Android" in phone Todoist settings. I trully hope that app wouldn't deside to replace my phone version with web one.

Dmitriy,

Thank you for this information. Please try to log out of the web-app, clear your browser's cache and Todoist's offline app data (it may need to be removed manually), reload the browser and let me know if you'll still see the duplicates. If you do, please try to use a different browser and see if the issue persists there as well and let me know which browsers did you use.

Regarding the start page - please try to set your web start page first, then go to the phone app's settings, then uncheck the "Sync start page" box and then choose a different page for the Android app. Nonetheless, we will improve this option so that changing the web start page won't affect the one on the phone.

Well, I tried to use Google Chrome and Internet explorer on different PC, tried Opera Beta on Android. Same result everywhere.

I've cleared cache and reinstalled app on my Note 2. Now I have 397 duplicates in 1 category on android and 567 in same category in web-app (cache cleared)

I found more duplicates of different tasks (about 5-10 on each). 1 category was fully deleted (with all tasks). All my data is a big mess now :(
