How can I get Jelly Bean notifications?

According to today's update, Jelly Bean notifications have been added. When I log into my account via the web, it tells me that I have two devices registered (my Nexus 4 and my Nexus 7) and that I will receive push notifications on them. However, I am only receiving email notifications.

Can you please tell me what I am doing wrong?

Hello Susan,

If you have phones running Android 4.1 or later, you will now receive better notifications made for Jelly Bean.

If you have push notifications set as default (in the "Default reminder" drop-down menu on the Settings -> reminders page, above the list of devices) then each time you add a task with a due time (for example - tomorrow at 13:00), a push notification should be set automatically to this task to 30 minutes before deadline.

You can also add reminders manually to any task regardless of its date by typing <remind today at 2pm> within the task name or, on the web-app, right-clicking on the task, choosing "Reminder". Here, you can set any reminder to any time and choose the reminder method - push notification, email or SMS.

Best regards,

Thanks for the reply. I have now set my default notifications to mobile push and it seems to be working.
