What is the best way to create new task from a Gmail message while on Android?

Hello Andrew,

Although it's not possible to link an email to a task on our mobile apps just as you can using our plugins in a browser, you can forward the message to your Todoist projects. Its subject line would become the name of the ask and its complete content - a task note.

To do so, you'll need the unique email address of the project you want to send tasks into and, if you're using a different email address then the one you're using with Todoist - it must be added to the list of accepted addresses. Both can be done by opening the web-app at todoist.com, entering a project and choosing "Email tasks to this project" from the "Task Actions" menu (the gear icon at the top of the task list in a project). You will also find detailed information about this feature there.

Best regards,

Thanks for the suggest but while this does create a task it does not create a link to the email, and it hides a copy of the email in the notes field (but leaves no visual sign it is there). This is not really the same behavior as the "create task from email" feature from the chrome plug-in.
