Notes - make phone numbers clickable
Typically in Android, most apps detect phone numbers, show as a link and allow automatically setting to the dialer upon clicking.
This would be a nice feature if users set related phone numbers in their notes. Would also be nice to work on the task itself.

this code be coded with a # format like this #321-555-1212# would show as 321-555-1212 and be a different color and be clickable for dialing - just a thought

This feature is available now.
Our apps should recognize any combination of numbers, as well as email addresses and so forth. If Android knows how to process the numbers, then our app will work.
Thanks,
Brendon.

Hi Brendon,
I question about changing the status to "completed". Please do a video tutorial to show how to dial out from Todoist from an android phone.
Thanks

I still can not dial out from Todoist on my Android phone. maybe iPhone users are having more success?!?

Hi Trevor,
If you enter a number for a note, such as 321-555-1212 and view that on your android phone, by opening the notes area of a task, it should be blue and underlined. Clicking on that should open up your phone application (suggestion if you have more than one).
Does this not happen for you?
Will see if we can put together a video.
Thanks,
Brendon.

Here is a quick video showing how to accomplish this. We might put something more professional together later.
I just wanted to get it to you asap :)

Please confirm if this works for you, if it does not, please state which phone you have, which android version you have, any custom ROM.
Thanks,
Brendon.

Hi Brendon, notes is a "Premium" only feature.
Thanks but no that does not help me?!?

I see this thread is for clickable in notes so this looks like it works if you upgrade to notes.
It would be nice to have this feature available in Todoist, the non-Premium version too.

Hi Trevor,
Yes, sorry about that. This thread was related to notes.
You are welcome to vote on the suggestion for this feature out-side of notes.

:) no problem, I should learn to read first and then comment.
This feature was the one that changed my mind! I've taken the step and upgraded to premium.
It works! I added a phone number in notes on my pc and went to my Android and opened the note and successfully dialed the number.
Thanks, Brendon, for your speedy help and for the video!

Glad your happy, and welcome to premium :)
I should have noticed that you were not premium, so it was partly my fault. Though my post was for everyone as well.
Thanks,
Brendon.
