Implement Pomodoro Technique
For me ToDoist is the best way to implement GTD. But the best way to work really efficiently with the GTD-organised tasks is to use The Pomodoro Technique: http://www.pomodorotechnique.com/
There are many apps with fine Pomodoro timers, some of which incorporate task management, but none of them is at least close to ToDoist with it's usability and multi-platform-ness ;)
Pomodoro Technique has some simple requirements that would need to be implemented to ToDoist:
- timer (with sound!),
- estimation field (how many pomodoros will this task take),
- reports (very important!).
http://www.pomodoroapp.com/ -- I think this app (2.2 version) is a pretty good example of timer and estimations, unfortunately lacking many useful features in the task management and reporting.
I'm sure that implementing Pomodoro to ToDoist would give a huge boost to the world economy! :)

This would be great. I've been using pomodoro for a while now, and am just moving to a digital system for keeping my todos all together. It would be nice to be able to, at the very least, track how much time each task took to complete.

Oh man, would this make todoist awesome! Was going to make the same suggestion, but found this.

I was just thinking about how I'd love to attach a Pomodoro record to my items on Todoist! Glad to see someone already suggested it!

THIS WOULD TAKE TODOIST NEXT LEVEL. BYE-BYE COMPETITION.
