Add tasks via Drag and Drop

A great feature I have seen in other To Do applications is to be able to just drag an email over to the task list. For an example look at Apple's Reminders.

Specifically I am looking for this with Apple Mail but could see it work with any App using drag and drop.

Hopefully this sort of functionality would be more generic than having a specific plug in for each source application.
