Shorthand "tonight" for "today" in due dates

Drives me crazy every time I do it: it's 4 PM, I want to do something when I get home, and I type "tonight" in the due-date box only to be informed that it's an invalid selection. If it auto-became "today" in the same way "wed" becomes "wednesday" and "tomrorow" becomes "tomorrow", that would be very helpful.
