Add a monthly view calendar in iPhone app for when selecting a task's due date

I like the way the monthly calendar pops up in the online version when I'm selecting a due date for a task. Why can't this also be available in the new iPhone app? Makes it easier to quickly select a date rather than using the scrolling feature currently being used.
