integrate gmail chrome plugin to work with google labs "split pane mode"

In Gmail labs you can enable feature called "split pane mode". It would be great if todoist chrome plugin can work with it

Hello Kris,

Thank you for your suggestion, we appreciate it, but unfortunately, this issue would have to be resolved by the developers of the "Preview Pane" Labs extension.

The only way for us to track the message you want to link to your Todoist task list is by using its unique ID that is being displayed in the URL when you're reading the message. Unfortunately, the Preview Pane extension completely hides this ID changing the URL making it impossible for our plugin to see if you're opening a message.

We're sorry for the inconvenience, but it's technically impossible for us to track the messages without the ID and the extension would have to stop hiding the direct URL to make it work. Please try to contact the developers of the Preview Pane about this issue.
