Better way to try out the product
I get that you need people to upgrade to the premium version in order to make any money and I do not have a problem with that. It might be worth $29/year to me. However, it is not worth $29 to find out.
Could you perhaps add features to the free version, activate the full features for the first week/month/whatever, offer a $2 rate for the first month, have a money-back guarantee if cancelled in the first month, or in some other way let people try out the full power of the application before committing to a year at $29?
