Link duplicate tasks or associate one task with multiple projects

I have some scenarios in which a single task (in a single context) benefits or is relevant to more than one project. It would be beneficial to (preferably) permit the same task to show up in multiple projects or to (alternately) create multiple tasks and "link" them so that marking one as complete automatically marks the other(s) as complete.
