Todoist for Right Brainers
Todoist is fine, but it's very left-brained. I have a suggestion for an entirely new product, I guess, though it may just be a new interface.
For many years I used "Time management for unmanageable people" (book is worth reading), where instead of putting things into lists and hiding them in drawers, it presents tasks visually. I had a huge noticeboard filled with patterned and coloured post-it notes. I had it in sections: Due now, due next week, due next month, completed, invoice. All I had to do was move the post-its along. The system suited me brilliantly, especially as most of my tasks take a couple of days to complete, or even weeks. I could see everything I needed to be working on at a glance. I am now in a book-lined study with no room for a noticeboard. However, the Start window in Windows 8 looks a lot like that system to me. And that got me thinking.
