Android Widget
I know you are working in the Android app, I would love to see a todoist android widget with configurable queries and quick task input in the future.
Thanks!

This would be fantastic. I'm a former RTM user and I really like todoist, but this is an absolutely necessary feature that I greatly miss from RTM.

We are working on a widget (or actually widgets!)
Let us know what features you would like us to add and what a perfect Todoist widget would do for you.

Amir

A resizable widget would be nice, using the same task query syntax available on the desktop and web sites. Touch the widget to open the app perhaps.
A quick add task widget

A widget that has a simple, yet elegant look with configurable colors or themes would be nice. This would allow the widget to go along with the look just about any person's screen.

It would be great to have
* quick adding of tasks to inbox (touch button on widget to start, type text, press keyboard enter to save task and start new entry procedure)
* one-touch completion of tasks in widget (tick box or strike through)

A quick add task button on the home screen would be ideal.
It's the only thing missing from the android app.

Surprised this doesn't have more votes!
One suggestion is, is to make the list scroll-able so you can see everything in the widget.
+1 for scrollable and quick add button in widget. Setting a default project for quick add would be handy too.

I am looking forward to the Android widgets!
1X4 BAR WIDGET:
-open app (TD)
-open due today (calendar symbol)
-open tasks with a specific tag, predetermined by user, (?)
-open tasks in a specific project, predetermined by user, (color)
-add new task (+)
4X4 SCROLL-ABLE LIST WIDGET:
List should be able to switch between
-tasks by date (include color of project it belongs to)
-projects
-tags
-user designated project(s)
Clicking on items in list will open app to that item.
Control bar should also include
-open app (TD)
-add new task (+)
-refresh/sync
STYLE:
-include dark (and light?) theme
-variable translucent background
-simple, minimalistic, clean, Android 4.+ theme
-adjustable spacing, compactness
-or adjustable font size
(I need lists to be spacious so the list doesn't seem so daunting)
Most modern launchers allow you to adjust the size of widgets as well as adjust your homescreen grid. I think traditional Android grid is 4X5, I have mine (SGS3) set to 7X9. I would set this Todoist widget along side my Google Calendar widget.
Thanks.
...also, 4X4 widget should include [task] list ordered by priority

I would love to see a 2x2 widget that lists tasks for a project or for today, 7 days, etc. Because of the small size, this widget could be a simple list that requires opening the app to interact with task items (app opens by touching widget).
I just want to be able to glance at my home screen and see what I have coming up.
Thank you.
