Hide a task till a certain date

So I don't forget, sometimes I add a task with due in several months for example. I need this task to be hidden and then be shown on a certain date.

I often work ahead in my to do list, and it would be great if I could have some tasks hidden that cannot be done yet. So I'd love to able to set a due date (when it needs to be done) and a start date (earliest it can be done, and when it becomes visible).

Yes! As an example, I have many tasks that I do once a year and I simply do not want to see them in my list all year round.

The due date on tasks gets highlighted in yellow starting the week before it's due. How about an option to hide all tasks that are more than a week away from their due dates?
