Custom Postpone
In addition to the regular Postpone option (which postpones one-time tasks to Tomorrow and recurring tasks to the next due date) I would like a custom Postpone.
If I have a task that recurs every 6 months, every month, or even every week, I may not be able to do it today, but I don't want to postpone it that long.
Yes, I know I can tweak the starting date under the due date, but that's too much clicking and entering.
2 options:
1) Have a Postpone (Custom) menu item under the regular one, or
2) Have a per-item postpone setting.

Just ran into this myself also. I have lots of maintenance tasks which I want to appear on my to do list every month or every 3 months, but that doesn't mean I want to do them on that exact day.
I need to be able to easily (drag n drop?) move recurring tasks to a specific day without postponing them til the next occurrence. Drag n drop within the 7 day view would be ideal for me so I can push them to the upcoming weekend.
I'd also like to be able to skip weekends on some tasks. Ideally I would like to be able to set a default postpone for each project so that (for instance) Work would skip weekends postponing a Friday task till Monday but not for other projects.

Hello J,
Please note that you can use the "every weekday" due date to set tasks that will skip weekends or even set it to recur on specific days, for example: "every Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu".
Best regards,
David

"Do It Today" is a very nice start, by the way. That right there solves many of my problems.
