asap date

Putting asap, the date is today
if the task is overdue,
the date will be changed automatically
in this way we have a list of what to do asap...

Not so great idea...
To have a task overdue has more meaning than to have it jump without human action to the current date.
When a task is overdue, the owner has to take an obvious decision: leave it overdue or reschedule it.

This suggestion is merged with ASAP Date Entry to Automatically Reassign Task to Today Until Complete and locked
