+1! Could this be done by adding a filter to the Task search box? I'm used to Gmail which has the 'is:read' syntax, but since Todoist has keywords like 'today' and 'overdue', something like the 'is:' operator might be superfluous. Maybe a search keyword called 'done' would solve the problem.

to add some additional thoughts:

I am one who loves to see the items checked off on what I did for the day. I would like to see an option that tasks completed (checked off) on a day (perhaps selectable) are not automatically removed from the task list when the view is changed. In other words, if I complete a task and I change from project view to another view (e.g., 5 days), the tasks completed that day remain in the task list - moved to be displayed at the bottom of the respective section (project grouping or day grouping, here). Again, only a nice to have, as I like to see those items being checked off the list each day.

I'd like the ability to see which tasks, by project, were completed for a specific time period, such as 'last month' or '-30 days', etc.

I would like to have the option to archive all completed tasks instead of deleting them as I would like to see all the tasks I have completed throughout the year.

not only date, but completed tasks should have project parameter and task level 1 parameter. For instance, a level 2 task would be moved to completed still maintaining both of theses information.

Yes please! One of the big things for work projects is to solve that feeling of "I've been working all week and got nothing done!" So being able to filter by project or @keyword and specify a date or date range and visually see what I got done on which day would be great! For example, show me all the work tasks I got done across all work projects last week, and sort them by day. Thank you!

This has been one of the most requested features and we have now implemented it for Todoist Premium.

If you reload Todoist and open following URL you can see the new feature:

A link is also presented top-right.

With this feature you can see completed tasks and filter them by date, project and labels. This view makes it possible to review and improve your productivity.

I feel the mixed view of both completed (strikethru) and to complete tasks to complete will be helpful. Not only in single project list, but also in the full list of all projects.

Indeed it helpful to have a quick view that reports on current operations at a glance. Then the query to detail on completed is perfect.

I agree with "unknown". I would like more control over the completed tasks view rather than the predetermined list.

When presenting an action plan, it is good to see those actions that have been completed alongside those still due.

I'd like a view that allows me to present tasks by label over a certain period showing both completed and due.

It would be great if these completed tasks can be exported using a standard calender format so that I can put them up on a separate calender for archival purpose.
