Favorite Filter Feature

I use what I suspect is a fairly common custom query for the Todoist start page: (od | tod | tom)

During the course of a day, I will filter tasks in a variety of ways, but I always like to return to the initial query when I'm done. As far as I can tell, the only way to do this is to have a Filter with the same query and apply it, which means (in the "New UI" as of late January 2014) clicking on the Filters tab, selecting my filter, and then clicking back to the Projects tab.

I would like to be able to accomplish this with a single click (or maybe a keystroke?) Some options:

Add a user-specified "Favorite Filter" icon to the area with the Today, Next 7 Days, and Inbox icons.

Allow the user to specify a Favorite Filter and apply it when the Todoist logo at the upper left is clicked, rather than just reloading the current page. (This might make sense because the page reloads automatically now.)

Allow the user to attach keystrokes to specific actions like applying a filter or displaying a particular project. (This has the downside of not working on the small screens.)
