indent without edit / using drag & drop

Currently, to in/outdent a task, you first have to click the task to make the ident buttons available.

Would love to see a more drag n drop approach, eg
- show the indent buttons on hovering, so they can be directly used
- dropping a task on another task makes the dropped task a child of the task where it is dropped on
(and would like to see that the whole tree gets dropped)

Hello Hans,

Thank you for your feedback, it's already possible to indent a task without editing it. Not directly as you would suggest, but if you grab a task by its drag & drop handle, then as you hold it, you can use the number keys: 1, 2, 3 etc. to change its indent level and the change will be saved once you release it.

This doesn't work properly. When I move tasks in this way (IE 11) they spontaneously move in all directions afterwards.

Is there something I am doing wrong?

Hello Marc,

Please tell me - does the issue still persist now? We've had some syncing issues causing a variety of problems earlier today, all have been fixed now, though.

Best regards,
