Real-time sync with Google Calendar

Nowdays Google.Calendar syncs data from Todoist only once per day.
David Trey, in thread (https://es.todoist.com/Support/showQuestion/5644/) says, that Todoist team knows how to make real-time sync with Google calendar.

I know, that separate Todoist.Calendar feature is important for users, but real-time sync with Google.Calendar will be useful to the majority of people, because a lot of us use Google.Calendar as main calendar application.

Me too. I'm surprised that nowadays there is anything like a calendar application that only checks for updates once a day (It seems this is a Google limitation not Todoist).

Yep, end of 2013 year behind the window, and scheduled once a day sync is horror.

How can this be brought to Google's attention?

I'm afraid Google aren't going to do anything about this as this issue persists for years, is being reported to them all the time to no avail.

We will look into alternative solutions especially for Google, but also developing our own calendar module in the future.

As I said in another thread, there is Google Calendar Api in Google Apps that lets you developers provide real-time two-way sync. Other apps like zendone, nirvana, etc offer this feature. I think that shouldn't be too difficult...

A Todoist calendar would only solve part of the problem. It needs to sync with everyday/all-purpose Google calendar so that users only have to look at one calendar to manage their schedule/tasks. I wonder if Google is launching their own version and is bottlenecking this feature until they're ready to launch.

Sync-up daily is ok for me, because if I need calendar, that means it's future tasks.

But is there already a feature in todoist to achieve this?

This is a horrifying nightmare. I have 65 work projects to manage, plus 20 projects for my side business, and probably 10 to manage at home. I need to add tasks and make SURE they are on the calendar...anything less does not work. I live in my calendar...so once the planning is done (in Todoist) it's time to EXECUTE...by living in my calendar. If I have to live in the planning tool all day, nothing will ever get done.

Well, I wish you'd have a warning about it on your website that Google Cal sync happens only once a day. It sounds like a serious problem to me and would be honest to tell it upfront to your customers. Even if it's not your fault, but it's the current feature.
