Due date for projects

I'd like a due date for entire projects, not just associated tasks. I'd like to be able to filter by date (seeing only projects due this week, etc.) to better manage my time. Many of my projects don't have tasks, so I can't even put a date in that field to use for a filter.

Just a project due date, that's all I ask!

Good idea.

If one could then define relative dates for the tasks within a project (relative with respect to the due date of the project), it would be possible to define templates for processes.

That would be a GREAT use for this feature. There are so many ways in which it would be helpful.

I think relative dates (with respect to a project) would be easy to implement, for example:

A task with the due date "main -5d" would mean: the task has the project due date minus 5 days.

I used "main" above to be general. For example, if "main -5d" would be used for a sub-task, the sub-task would have a due date of the main task - 5 days.
