DD

Hi,

it would be very handy to use a full text search also in the android and IOS app.

Hello Dirk,

This feature is already available on mobile. Simply tap on the "Filters" tab -> Manage filters -> Add filter and use the "q: " syntax to search for text.

For example, to create a filter that will search for tasks with the text "call" type this:

q: call

Within the query field. We will soon also implement all the new advanced search options to our mobile apps.

Best regards,
David

Hi David,

Thanks. Would please consider adding a search box (which will appear after a swipe down gesture, maybe?) to make the search process easier and quicker? The current setting means that for each new search one will have to go through a lot of unnecessary taps (either creating a new search, naming it, search, and tap the "check" sign"; or have an existing query that needs to be edited every time which will need two extra taps.

I am happy that the search function is achievable already. Just thought the above will be more user-friendly.

Hello Tianyi,

On Android, you can tap on the 3-dot icon in the top-right corner and choose "Search" to use a live search field that updates as you type your query. You can then choose to save it as a filter, but don't have to as you'll see the results right-away. We're planning to port this functionality to the iOS app too.

Best regards,
David
