Recurring tasks around irregularly recurring holidays

So, Mother's Day is coming up—a realization that sneaks up on me year after year. Unfortunately, I cannot set a recurring task based on the recurrence patterns of Mother's Day—every 2nd Sunday in May (in the U.S.). I can use "ev Dec 25" for Christmas cards. I can even do "ev 2nd Sunday," resulting in a monthly recurrence and not an annual.

Adding "ev 2nd Sunday in May" to the list of recurring dates would solve Mother's Day. However, many religious holidays (e.g., Easter) are less regular. Even worse is Ash Wednesday (46 days before Easter). Is it possible to add recurring dates based on holiday observances (e.g., "ev Easter" and "ev 46 days before Easter")?

Hello Alex,

Thank you for your suggestion. We're currently working on a calendar module within Todoist and we will consider including holidays in it for easy task scheduling to these days.

Best regards,

I also am trying to do "ev 2nd Sun in May" for Mother's Day. There may be other uses for having every 1st/2nd/3rd/4th particular weekday of a particular month.
