Windows Todoist: minimize window to notification area

Right now, closing the window removes the desktop app from the notification tray and exits the program. Usually, if you close programs that have an icon on the notification tray, it never actually exits the program.

So I tried minimizing instead of closing the window. When minimized, the window remains on the task bar. Having it on the task bar is really clunky. Is it possible to change so that if you minimize or close it it goes to the notification area instead of the taskbar? And then you can exit the program it by right click notification icon and selecting exit.

Hello Ellen,

Please uninstall the app and then download and install the latest version from this location: https://d2dq6e731uoz0t.cloudfront.net/2c5b1516105eca09eb663f9c8b8c742a/as/Todoist_for_Windows.exe it's a pre-release which will be published and announced very soon.

After you launch the app, click on the TD icon in the notifications area and choose "Configuration". Here, you'll be able to choose the "Close behavior" from the drop-down menu and select:
- Minimize to notifications area
- Close

Best regards,
