I believe that it would be useful for users who add multiple tasks to assign labels to many of them at once using toolbar at the top of the page.
Yes, please add it.
At the moment you can select multiple tasks by pressing the shift button and select operations like today, postpone, other project, delete, change date, ...
Please add the option "add label".
This is an extremely useful feature. I use Todoist for daily, recurring checklists. I like using labels for GTD contexts. To be forced to add labels to a single project at a time is tedious at best.
I am looking for the same feature as Andreas:
"At the moment you can select multiple tasks by pressing the shift button and select operations like today, postpone, other project, delete, change date, ... Please add the option "add label". "
Labels are such an incredible useful feature for grouping tasks in a variety of ways for different purchases. I therefore assign 5-6 or more labels to some types of tasks. That is great for search and listing, but it makes setting up new tasks slower.
(the quickest way to do if it is precisely the same combination of labels that needs to be added to each new task: just copy the line of labels from an old task)
Bulk adding labels should of course be designed in such a way that a combination of labels can be added at once, not one at the time as it is now.
Ditto. I'm actually quite shocked that this feature isn't already available. I have been using Todoist for years, but my work recently changed and now I find I really need to ability to change labels on whole batches of tasks. I don't want to look elsewhere, because I love Todoist, but I may have to if there are no plans to add this feature. It's simply necessary.
Please, someone reply and let us know what the possibility is of getting batch changes...
The possibility is always there, any useful feature will be added eventually. We're currently working on some big changes and once we're done, we'll continue adding more features, but unfortunately, we can't specify when exactly this one will be added.
+1! I am still figuring out the best labels for me to use and it would be a huge time saver during this period if I can mass assign or remove labels.
I guess once you are satisfied with your labels the need for this feature becomes less obvious, but I think it's an easy option which does not clutter the interface.
