projects/tasks in hierarchy list - maybe even collapsible
would like to not have to continually switch between projects. I'd rather have the option for an out line type list
too much switching back and forth to use projects. I just simplified to long term and short term projects for now
You can view all tasks from within all projects simply by typing "va" or "viewall" to the search box. In fact, in Settings -> General, you can set "viewall" as a custom query for your default start page.
Also please note that you can use tasks and sub-tasks for a hierarchy within a project (as well as sub-projects).
I'm not sure if we are talking about the same thing, but something perhaps similar I'm missing is a view like the "View All" option, but for when I click on a meta/mother/parent project. Meaning I want when clicking on a project that has other projects indented within, to see all tasks included, sorted by those indented "child" projects.
For example, I've got:
I want when clicking on the parent [INBOX] project to see a breakdown of tasks similar to View All mode, which should in this example something like:
 2nd task
I hope the (simple) idea is clear. This will also address some requests for folders I believe.
Unfortunately all the spaces I've put in my previous posts were erased, so it doesn't really emphasize the indented view....
