Have cursor appear in login box automatically

I'd really like to have the cursor already flashing in the email login box when signing in to Todoist online (at present the user has to click in the email box for the cursor to appear before they can start keying in their email address in order to log in). While it's not a big inconvenience, I've used other sites that have the cursor waiting in the login box by default so that the user can immediately start keying in their email address without having to move the cursor there to begin with. IMHO, one less click to log in is always better than one more.

Hello Cliff,

This feature is already available. As the login box opens the focus is set on the email input field and you can start typing it right away. Please tell me - what browser are you using?

Hi David,

I noticed it at work, where I use Firefox on a PC.

I use Safari on my Macbook at home, and, as you said, the focus is indeed set on the email input field.

When I tried Firefox on my Macbook I got the same result as I did at work on my PC: no cursor until I clicked in the email input field.

Cliff,

I've tested this on Firefox on a PC and the cursor is there. Please tell me:
- What version of Windows are you using on your work PC?
- What version of Firefox is installed on your work PC?
- Are there any plugins in your browser at work? Such as script-blocking plugins?

Hi David,

Firefox did an auto-update this morning (v 17.0.1) and that has resolved the issue on my PC at work (running Windows XP Pro v 5.1.2600).

BTW, I'm using Firefox 14.0.1 on my Macbook.

I also have IE v 8.0.6001.18702 on the same PC but the cursor doesn't appear in the email input box until it is clicked. However, since I typically use Firefox on my PC, it's not an issue for me.

Thank you for this information, I've been able to reproduce this issue in Internet Explorer and will pass it to the developers.
