Kindle Fire application

MJ

With the latest update, the Android application works great. Would like to see the application in the Kindle app store.

This would be amazing, is there a work around right now or can you only use the online app?

Ryan,

There is no known workaround at the moment, the web version is the only current option.

Regards,
Brendon.

Is there a way to get the app apk file directly, to allow us to sideload Todoist on the Kindle?
Unfortunately the Google Play store won't allow a download for us to try this on our own. Would like to get the most out of the subscription.

Hello E T,

Yes, you can get the latest version of our Android app here: https://d2dq6e731uoz0t.cloudfront.net/2b9de55b0328857350b7762442373e10/as/Todoist_v2.1.3.apk

Hello.....I downloaded & installed the latest v2.1.3 to my Kindle Fire via your link....but I always get a "Google Play Services" message that says.....This app won't run without Google Play services, which are missing from your phone.

Is there a way to eliminate this message on my Knidle Fire tablet?

I think the Todoist app needs those files/apps to function properly. I installed them to my Kindle following these instructions:http://androidcowboy.com/2013/10/add-google-account-kindle-fire-hdx/

Does loading the Google software work for the original Kindle Fire which is what I have. I am hoping to not have to root the kindle if possible.

Sorry, I have no idea. I only have the 2012 HD and 2013 HDX versions.
