+ Add Suggestion

Add shortcuts to task settings in the task's header (i.e. next to the note button)

SN

tl;dr Add shortcuts to often used task settings in a task's header (next to the note icon). I specifically miss these:
- delete a task
- change task priority
- (optional) move task to another project
- (optional) postpone task

Hi devs!

First of all I want to compliment you on the amazing amount of work you've put in Todoist. It's grown tremendously since I first started using it.

Recently I've turned to Todoist to manage my thesis writing. Todoist task's then become sections and pieces of content that I need to write. A thesis is of course never finished and is constantly changing and so are the pieces of content; some become more important than others and some lose relevancy. I thus found myself deleting and changing the task's priorities quite often.
After a while I grew tired of having to click on the gear-icon and delete each task individually. It then dawned on me that placing a delete button next to the note button will make these tasks much quicker. The same goes for changing a task's priority.

Hence the suggestion: add task setting shortcuts in the task's heading next to the notes button that shows on hovering over a task.

Keep up the good work!

Hello Simeon,

such option is already available. Not in a form of an icon, though, but you can very easily perform all these options simply by right-clicking on the task which will display the same menu as you get through the gear icon.

Best regards,
David

Hi David,

cool, I didn't know that. I'll use this menu in the future (although an icon would be faster still ;) :P ).

Cheers,
Simeon
